The Office Is Dead - Long Live the Office

SPECTRUM Academy opens the new year with an exciting, thought-provoking topic: Future of Work.

At a time when there is an increased focus on the digital workplace, what role does the physical workplace play and are its days numbered? What are the pros and cons of virtual and physical working? Is co-working here to stay and will it impact the way corporations consume space?

In collaboration with Herman Miller, You will hear from Oliver Baxter, Herman Miller’s Insight Program Specialist (flown in from the company’s Regional Design Centre in Dubai) on research findings around the globe on how workplaces can be designed to elevate the work experience. SPECTRUM’s International CEO Chris McPherson will also speak on how technologies are being used to bring innovation to the modern workplace and its cultural changes. The session will include a tour of SPECTRUM, showcasing the design intent behind the technology and innovation business club in building the ecosystem.

Through the evening of learning and networking, you will gain a deeper understanding on how physical space can be optimised to boost productivity and promote a sense of community in the digital age for an elevated work experience.
